Marketing Assistant

 

DuBois & King is seeking an energetic, self-motivated marketing assistant with 0 to 2 years of experience to join a collaborative marketing team in a growing professional services firm. D&K provides diverse professional consulting services throughout the Northeast and beyond.

As a member of our team, you will develop content and graphics to support the marketing of services ranging from mechanical or civil engineering to wetland science to municipal master planning. You will prepare copy and design content for proposals and other reports/documents, develop graphical materials, prepare presentations, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience with photography, website design or maintenance, and social media marketing is desirable. The preferred candidate will have graphic design and writing abilities and will seek to further develop these skills while working in a team-oriented environment.

This is a full-time, 40 hour-per-week position based in our Randolph office. (This is not a virtual position.) Experience with photography, website design or maintenance, and social media marketing are desirable.

Prerequisites: Basic graphic design skills, good grammar, writing ability, self-motivation, and desire to collaborate and participate as a team player; Mac-based Adobe Creative Suite (required), Google and Microsoft applications (helpful). 

Basic Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar (or an individual working toward that goal) is preferred.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Manage large amounts of information and maintain data and records online
  • Prepare proposal outlines
  • Write and design proposals
  • Take photos as needed
  • Develop marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic
  • Plan and create social media content
  • Maintain website content as assigned
  • Coordinate conferences and trade shows
  • General assistance and support for the firm’s marketing efforts
