DuBois & King, Inc. is seeking a Senior Dam Engineer with approximately 10 years of experience. This is a full-time senior engineering position with full benefits in our busy and growing Dam Engineering Group located in South Burlington, VT, Bangor, ME, or Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities
- Duties will include safety inspection, evaluation, planning, design, plan development,
- Technical specification preparation of contract documents
- Construction inspection of dam projects.
- Technical experience in geotechnical/foundations, structural concrete, earth embankments is required.
- Experience with applicable FERC dam safety design criteria and state/federal regulations, client development, client interaction, meetings, construction cost estimating.
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering. M.S. or graduate level technical coursework preferred
- Related experience in hydrology & hydraulics and permitting is a plus.
- AutoCAD is desirable.
- VT or NH PE or ability to obtain within 6-12 months is required.
