D&K is seeking an individual with 8 or more year of professional experience working closely with municipalities, state DOTs, and regional planning commissions on transportation planning and design projects. Responsibilities will include managing projects, budgets, and schedules, leading public engagement programming, and mentoring staff members. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, planning, or a related field is required and PE registration and/or AICP certification is preferred. Ideal candidates will bring experience with Complete Streets principles and software platforms including ArcGIS, TrafficWare, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. Ideal candidates will possess excellent oral and written communication skills suitable for engaging the public, authoring reports and guidance documents, managing client relationships, and writing proposals.
