DuBois & King provided preliminary engineering through final design for a larger spillway for a high hazard, circa-1900 dam serving a 63-acre recreational impoundment in Mount Holly, Vermont. Originally constructed for mill power, the 217-ft-long by 15-ft-high stone, concrete, and earthen dam was reportedly overtopped four times, most recently during Tropical Storm Irene. The project is currently being constructed.
