The preferred candidate will have solid writing ability and an interest in strengthening writing and design capabilities. Responsibilities will include proofreading and designing proposals, developing graphical materials for trade shows and advertising, writing press releases, preparing presentations, and meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience with photography, website design or maintenance, and social media marketing are desirable. Prerequisites: good grammar, writing ability, basic graphic design skills, flexibility, self-motivation, and desire to collaborate and participate as a team player. Software proficiencies: Mac-based Adobe Creative Suite (required), Microsoft Word and Excel (helpful). Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or Bachelor’s degree plus 2 or more years of related experience. Responsibilities may include:

  • Develop marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic
  • Develop proposals (write, copyedit, and proofread)
  • Work with advertisers for timely and useable ad submissions
  • Create and deliver press releases and social media content

  • Recommend, implement and maintain website

Resident Engineers/Inspectors needed for upcoming projects in the 2019 construction season and for those projects extending beyond the 2018 construction season. Projects are located in Vermont and New Hampshire and include municipal utility, street and highway construction, bridges, dams, and airports. Experience with AASHTO, NETTCP, NHDOT, VTrans and FAA Standards is desirable but not required. This is a full time / full benefits senior engineering position in our busy and growing Hydroelectric Engineering Group, which is located in our Randolph, Vermont office.
