Plumbing Designer / Engineer

 

DuBois & King, Inc. is seeking an experienced plumbing designer with approximately 2+ years of experience. This is a full time engineering position in our growing Mechanical Engineering Group. Our markets include healthcare, commercial, industrial, institutional, and government projects throughout New England. This position will be based out of our Bedford, NH office.

 Responsibilities

  • Preparing calculations under the supervision of an experienced engineer using current material and building codes and relevant design standards.
  • Ability to work in Revit to assist with the preparation of drawings and sketches including completion of redlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Conducting site visits to survey existing conditions or review project conformance with plans.
  • Flexibility with schedule to accommodate project requirements as necessary.

Qualifications

  • 2+ yrs of relevant experience
  • AutoCAD and Revit proficiency required and comfortable with engineering design software.
  • Strong technical skills combined with clear, concise written and verbal communication skills are important.

Compensation Range:

The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $95,000, plus employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. Mechanical Engineer

 

DuBois & King, Inc. is currently hiring a Mechanical Engineer with 5 -10 years’ experience in the development of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing systems and building works for our Building Services division.

Responsibilities

  • Design and review CAD Works
  • Preparation of reports
  • Speciation development and review
  • Ability to work within fast-paced, team-oriented workplace.
  • Experience with Site development, buildings, HVAC, and electrical process and controls is a plus
  • Completing and checking engineering calculations
  • Advancement opportunities will be commensurate with education and experience

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant field

Compensation Range:

The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000, plus employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Senior Electrical Engineer

 

DuBois & King, Inc. is currently hiring for an Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer with experience from 5 to 10 years in site, building systems, and/or infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

  • Duties shall include preparation of reports, CAD, and specifications for all types of projects related to site development, buildings, HVAC and electrical processes and controls.
  • Establish a working relationship with the other staff, and be an effective team member of the Division.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates.
  • Conduct site reviews as needed for feasibility studies, planning, and design projects.
  • Learning key engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit and other programs/conventions.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in electrical engineering is required
  • FE preferred or  obtained within first 6 months of employment.
  • PE is preferred
  • AutoCAD and/or Revit experience is preferred.

Compensation Range:

The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $175,000, plus employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. DuBois & King, Inc. is currently hiring for an Electrical Healthcare Manager with 10+ years of experience in site, building systems, and/or infrastructure design. This position is within our growing Healthcare group, with a wide variety of projects in commercial, industrial, institutional, recreational and municipal markets throughout New England.

Responsibilities

  • Duties shall include preparation of reports, CAD, and specifications for all types of projects related to site development, buildings, HVAC and electrical processes and controls.
  • Establish a working relationship with the other staff, and be an effective team member of the Division.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates.
  • Conduct site reviews as needed for feasibility studies, planning, and design projects.
  • Learning key engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit and other programs/conventions.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in site, building systems, and/or infrastructure design
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering is required
  • PE, or the ability to obtain one withing 6 months, is preferred.
  • AutoCAD and/or Revit experience
  • Experience in Healthcare design is preferred

Compensation Range:

The salary range for this position is $150,000 – $225,000, plus employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
