Verizon Wireless – Woodstock South Telecommunications Facility

 

Woodstock, Vermont

DuBois & King provided civil/site, electrical, structural, mechanical, and environmental engineering services to design, permit, and construct a new telecommunications facility in the Town of Woodstock, Vermont. Project was constructed on the roof of the Woodstock Inn Administration Building owned by the Woodstock Inn. Improvements included designing support for an equipment shelter on the third floor and installation of a stealth fiberglass cupola, antennas behind the screen, and an emergency generator to serve both the building and Verizon Wireless. Services included:

Assisting with site selection

Topographic survey and site plan
Cell tower visual impact simulation
Preparing permit level plans
Permitting (local and state, including Act 248a)
Floodway analysis
Structural design for third floor support for equipment shelter
Structural design for roof support for fiberglass screen
