Weston-Wantastiquet-Lake-Dam-Repairs-1DuBois & King developed an emergency action plan and designed a mineral seepage filter system for a 400-ft-long by 22-ft-high dam serving a 45-acre recreational impoundment for the the Wantastiquet Trout Club in Weston, Vermont. The project was constructed in the summer of 2015.

Wentworth-Goffe's-Mill-Pedestrian-Covered-Bridge-1After the existing steel truss bridge was closed to all pedestrian and winter recreation traffic, the Town of Wentworth, New Hampshire, purchased a covered bridge from a hotel development that was demolished in Bedford, New Hampshire. DuBois & King provided bridge engineering for the mobilization and rehabilitation of the replacement structure and abutments. The replacement covered bridge was moved from Bedford to a storage location in Wentworth in the spring of 2015.

Randolph-VT-Route-66-Reclaim-Construction-Inspection-1VT 66 connects VT 12 and VT 14 and serves approximately 6,100 vehicles per day. VTrans selected DuBois & King to provide design and construction phase services for the roadway, drainage, and signing associated with this roadway reclaim project. The project is currently under construction.

Mount-Holly-Star-Lake-Dam-Rehabilitation-1DuBois & King provided preliminary engineering through final design for a larger spillway for a high hazard, circa-1900 dam serving a 63-acre recreational impoundment in Mount Holly, Vermont. Originally constructed for mill power, the 217-ft-long by 15-ft-high stone, concrete, and earthen dam was reportedly overtopped four times, most recently during Tropical Storm Irene. The project is currently being constructed.

Royalton-Perley-Farm-Road-Reconstruction-1DuBois & King provided the design of the Perley Farm Road reconstruction and flood resilient channel protection on the White River in Royalton, Vermont. High river stages during Tropical Storm Irene destroyed a 500 ft long section of Perley Farm Road, which ran along the north bank of the White River. Project objectives included the design of a road alignment, which fit into the existing site conditions, and armoring the river bank to improve flood resiliency. Construction was completed in the summer of 2015.
