DuBois & King is seeking a Bridge Engineer with 0-5 or more years of experience holding a B.S. in Civil Engineering (a Master’s is preferred). This is a junior-level position that will include learning about and using engineering software and CADD for the development of bridge, retaining wall, and culvert design deliverables, including plans, specifications, and estimates.
Responsibilities will include:
- Familiarity with providing services to NHDOT and VTrans
- Ability to mentor entry level staff
- Ability to work within fast-paced, team-oriented workplace.
- Experience with structural design software packages is a plus.
- Completing and checking engineering calculations, including quantity take offs, and structural engineering analysis and design
- Advancement opportunities will be commensurate with education and experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in Bridge Engineering
- B.S./M.S. in Civil Engineering
- MS Excel and CAD software experience, Microstation preferred
- EIT License required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
