DuBois & King (D&K) seeks a self-motivated Marketing Associate with 8 to 12 years of experience to join the collaborative Marketing and Business Development team in a growing professional services firm. D&K provides diverse professional consulting services ranging from mechanical or civil engineering to wetland science to municipal master planning throughout the Northeast and beyond.

The preferred candidate will have a strong work ethic, creative energy, and be organized and proficient at juggling multiple priorities under strict deadlines while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities will include writing, editing/proofreading, and designing proposals; developing graphical materials for trade shows and advertising; mentoring junior staff; and preparing presentations and press releases. Experience with photography, website design or maintenance, and social media marketing are highly desirable. Prerequisites: good grammar, strong writing and graphic design skills, flexibility, self-motivation, and desire to collaborate as a team. Software: Mac-based Adobe Creative Suite (required), Google and Microsoft applications (helpful). Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications plus 8 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree in another field plus 12 or more years of related experience. This position has the potential to grow into a leadership role.
Responsibilities may include:
- Develop proposals (write, copyedit, and proofread), qualifications packages, outlines, and agendas
- Proofread and copyedit marketing materials
- Manage large amounts of information
- Mentor junior staff on proposal development and assist with maintaining the proposal schedule
- Occasional travel to other offices, conferences, trade shows, and career fairs
- Create and deliver press releases and social media content
- Recommend, implement, and maintain website
- Create and deliver marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic
