DuBois & King is seeking a draftsperson/survey technician to work in the survey department and assist with fieldwork as well as drafting base plans. Time will be split between the field and office as workload demands. Project types range from topographic survey, boundary surveys, historical right of way surveys, Geodetic Leveling, GPS networks, large construction layout projects, hydrographic surveys and dam surveys.
Responsibilities:
- The applicant will be responsible for “field to finish” products, for which the applicant will assist with field data capture, and see the product through to a polished base map. This opportunity has room for growth with long-term career possibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to individuals with over five years of relevant experience (though the firm is willing to train the right individual).
- Positive attitude and energy
- Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation
- AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a strong drafting background.
