Environment

D&K’s environmental planners, engineers, and scientists partner with diverse stakeholders, owners, regulators, and project partners on a day-to-day basis to advance projects that minimize impacts on natural resources. Our water and wastewater engineers are fluent in local, state, and federal regulations, such as NEPA, and we research and advise client partners on funding opportunities, such as state and federal grant and loan programs. We maintain strong relationships with state, USDA, and NRCS officials and participate in agency and industry tradeshows to present on innovative projects and learn about emerging best practices, regulations, and funding.

Our teams successfully navigate projects through established procedures to meet regulatory requirements and funding deadlines. We provide infrastructure assessment and design for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater for municipalities, districts, and commercial clients to comply with State Revolving Loan Fund (CWSRF and DWSRF) requirements. D&K’s environmental teams identify, map, and monitor resources; develop management plans; and prepare permit applications.
