Justin Vertichio promoted to Chief Financial Officer
We are excited to announce that Justin R. Vertichio has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of DuBois & King! Justin’s promotion is a well-earned professional recognition of his years of dedicated service, leadership, and accomplishments.
Justin’s was hired to fill the Controller’s position in fall 2019. As Controller, Justin assumed leadership and oversight of the finance and accounting department’s operations. During his first six years, he developed a deep understanding of the nuances of financial management associated with a professional services consulting company in the A/E market. The quality and success of project management is the lifeblood of any A/E firm, and under Justin’s leadership and efforts, there have been significant firm-wide advancements in the training and use of D&K’s financial and project management systems. Justin’s strong accounting and financial management experience and skills will help him excel in meeting the ever-growing demands of the company’s Chief Financial Officer position.
As CFO, Justin continues to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the Accounting Department, including his previous responsibilities as controller, and continued professional development and growth on the Senior Management Team and Board of Directors. Justin served in an integral capacity on the Senior Management Team prior to his nomination and election to the Board at the 2025 Annual Meeting in February. He is also a Corporate Officer and D&K’s Treasurer. Through his dedicated work ethic and professionalism, Justin meets all the demands associated with his new position.
Justin holds a bachelor’s in accounting from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, New York, and a master’s in accounting with a concentration in taxation from Southern New Hampshire University.
